After being resurrected by a sinister creature, Art the Clown returns to the shy town of Miles County, where he attacks a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. The “Terrifier” haunted house scenes were filmed in a real haunted house called the Fright Factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The filmmakers used what they already had on hand. Art’s favorite acid is fluoroantimonic acid, which he has in a clear bottle. It is a super acid capable of dissolving even glass. Art the Clown: ………. There is a mid-credits scene in a mental hospital with Chris Jericho as security guard Alan Burke and Leah Voysey as a nurse. The German DVD and Blu-ray releases of Tiberius Film are cut by about three minutes to ensure a “Not Under 18” rating (this was necessary because the guidelines for video releases are stricter than for theatrical releases). Virtually every violent scene was cut to tone down the violence. Nameless Media’s Mediabook 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray releases are completely uncensored and have received a SPIO/JK stamp of approval. It was definitely too long. It got to the point where enough was enough. After about an hour, I couldn’t wait for it to be over. Art The Clown looks great and there are a few gruesome kill scenes, but that’s about it. The acting is terrible and the plot is next to none. The entire movie consists of a killer clown running around killing people. I don’t understand why people are so caught up in these movies. Don’t get me wrong! I love horror movies as much as the next guy, but some of these murder scenes are horribly over the top. You have to be a little sadistic to fall for it. When all is said and done, it’s just an unpleasant movie. 5 stars.
