KJ and Dan are having trouble communicating with each other. After a few years of a strained relationship, the pair take a weekend trip to a friend’s cabin to rekindle their romance… and find a dying, but not quite dead, mouse stuck to a glue trap. They can’t agree on how to approach it. KJ advocates for a quick kill, while Dan suggests making the mouse’s final moments as pleasant as possible. The pair compromise and move on, slowly reconnecting in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their serenity is disturbed by the arrival of a petite woman who can charitably be described as “eccentric” – she’s their host’s younger sister and had no idea anyone lived in the family cabin. It’s okay if she fails, right? As the pair try to reconcile this interloper on top of their already strained dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this unsavory fifth wheel may threaten more than just their relationship…
