Sawyer’s character was originally supposed to be an older, smooth, suit-wearing city slicker from Buffalo, New York.

However, when Josh Holloway forgot a line during an audition and then kicked his chair in frustration and swore loudly, the writers liked the edge of Sawyer’s character and decided to write Sawyer as more of a southern, darker drifter. Jin and Sun are married, and their last name is “Kwon,” which becomes a major plot point in the final season. However, when Koreans get married, the wife never takes her husband’s last name. In fact, in Korea, it’s not even allowed to marry someone with the same last name, except in rare cases..

The strange opening credits were designed by J.J. Abrams on his laptop in black and white as a tribute to The Twilight Zone. I’ve watched a lot of TV in my life, probably too much. But this is the best TV show I’ve seen in years.
Maybe even the best of all time
You just can’t predict what’s going to happen. It seems like the show will tell you something new about the island and its inhabitants every week. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what’s going to happen, and before I know it, the show is over and I have to wait to find out what happens next. Extremely gripping!
This show is amazing and I hope they keep it going because often fantastic shows in the US get canceled because the ratings start to dip a bit or the executives think the shows are too weird
I really hope the series continues so we can experience it here in England because it is a fantastic show and I would love to get a DVD of this series so I can get all my friends on it too.
