When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they convinced Harrison Ford to be on the show, Segel said Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and would audition people who were similar to Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they should have at least introduced him to Ford first, thinking he would have turned it down immediately, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was being brought in, which would have piqued the interest of other famous actors.

Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was elated nonetheless. Shrinking was just as good as I hoped it would be.
Well, I just finished it and it not only met my expectations, but exceeded them
First of all, as soon as I saw Harrison Ford and Jason Segal in the lead roles, I was ready to watch it, but then after reading all the positive reviews and watching the trailer, my excitement grew even more. I’m not saying it’s the best show of the year, but it’s an original and enjoyable comedy that will make you laugh in every episode.
I would definitely recommend it, but make sure you give yourself enough time to watch it because you’ll want to devour it as quickly as possible
