The theme song changes from season to season to reflect what is happening in the story
In the first half of the second season (which is set in France), some of the lyrics are in French. In the second half of Season 2 (which is mostly about war preparations), a militaristic drumbeat was added to the opening song. During Season 3, tribal drums were added as most of the season takes place in the West Indies.
